While Exclaim! noted Peace singer Dan Geddes adds "a sense of foreboding drama with his monotone warble" to the Vancouver quartet's new album The World Is Too Much With Us, it's guitarist Mike Willock that spooks things up in the video for "Your Hand In Mine."
The clip kicks off with Geddes having a hell of a time slogging through a city sidewalk, with a stream of citizens smacking into him from every angle (keep your eyes peeled for a cameo from fellow Suicide Squeeze labelmate Brody McKnight of Nü Sensae).
Geddes flees to a nearby phone booth (situated on Vancouver's Commercial Drive), where he's forced into a sinister stare-down with Willock. The rest of the video features an in-booth gassing and a confusing chase scene, and you can peep the mysterious results down below.
Peace are just about to wrap some tour dates, and you can see the remaining dates down below.
Tour dates:
11/14 Saskatoon SK -Vangelis
11/15 Calgary AB - Broken City
11/17 Edmonton AB - Wunderbar
