Having formed in 2001, Winnipeg power pop combo the Paperbacks have stayed relatively low-key outside of their local scene, but that hasnt stopped them from building a solid fan base. Among their fans is legendary Weakerthans front-man Jon K. Samson, who produced their 2007 record, An Illusion Against Death.
A year has passed, and the band are heading out on another Canadian tour that will take them to the west and back, ending in Thunder Bay. At that point, the band will put the finishing touches on their as-yet-untitled third record, which happens to be a double album.
