In 2013, Black Dice co-founder and out-there solo artist Eric Copeland released his Joke in the Hole LP. Proving that the songs are still worth our attention, the album has been mined for a brand new remix EP.
A new 12-inch simply called Remixes features four new interpretations of music from the album.
Remixers include Larry Gus, Floston Paradigm, Anthony Naples and, most notably, Animal Collective member Panda Bear, who has added a brand new vocal track to the album's "Cheap Treat."
Remixes will be available on July 10 as a digital download and as a limited 12-inch via DFA. Only 1,000 copies will be pressed, so you may want to pre-order the release now if it tickles your fancy.
Remixes:
1. Cheap Treat (Panda Bear Version)
2. Grapes (Larry Gus Remix)
3. Cheap Treat (Fhloston Paradigm Remix)
4. Bobby Strong (Anthony Naples Remix)
