Painted Faces

"Stop the Waters" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jun 15, 2015

London, ON indie punk outfit Painted Faces are set to unveil their latest video, and Exclaim! has got your first look at the new clip.

The band continue their tradition of making their own videos under their Hungry Boys Productions company with the new one, and it sees them goofing around close-up for the camera. It also marks the group's first foray into CGI work, experimenting with time-freezing effects. The technique gets tried out on an array of stuff like Mike and Ikes, guitar pedals, videogame controllers, cigar smoke and laptops — capturing moments right before things probably go horribly wrong in most cases.

The four-piece unit released their debut EP The Drawing Board back in 2013, followed it up with 2014's Vinyl Signs, and they're currently working with producer Siegfried Meier on a full-length that's expected out later this year.

Before that arrives, though, you can watch the brand new video for "Stop the Waters" in the player below.
