California metalcore crew Of Mice & Men have already announced plans to spend a couple of months in early 2014 touring with Bring Me the Horizon, and it turns out that they will be promoting a new album while on the road. Restoring Force will be out on January 28 through Rise Records.
The album was produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Hedley, Bring Me the Horizon) at House of Loud in Elmwood Park, NJ. It's the follow-up to the band's 2011 album The Flood.
"What happens after a disaster? What happens after The Flood?" asked frontman Austin Carlile in a statement. "You return to normal. You find balance again. That's what we felt like we were doing with this album. We wanted this record to bring equilibrium back to our band and music. We're letting everyone know that we're here to stay. We're Restoring Force."
According to a message on the five-piece's website, the album finds the group "solidifying the sound" they have been developing in recent years.
Of Mice & Men haven't yet shared any music from the album, which is available to pre-order from their online store on CD, marbled blue vinyl, or in a number of different merch bundles. Peruse your options here.
