As they've proven with "See You in Hull" and "Midnight Lovers," Ottawa brat pack New Swears are adept at pairing party punk anthems with party punk videos. They're back with yet another action packed clip for the song "Candy Land."
The track is less of a buzzed-up fist-pumper and more of a soul-searching hangover song, with existential themes explored through an acoustic-guitar strummed sing-along.
That said, the accompanying video is exactly what we've come to expect from New Swears, offering an anarchic late-night brawl complete with plenty of decapitations and fake blood.
Watch the video for "Candy Land" below. The song will appear on the band's upcoming LP Junkfood Forever, Bedtime Whatever.
