They'll hit six Canadian cities this fall

New Friends have announced that they're gearing up to embark on a headlining tour of North America this fall.

The Toronto-based pop quintet is set to hit the road for the 11-stop What's Next Tour in September.

The trek will kick off in Buffalo, NY, on September 7 and wrap up in Ottawa on September 23, with shows in five other Canadian cities, including Toronto (September 14) and Montreal (September 22) along the way.

It's been a busy year for the group, who logged tours with Virginia to Vegas in Western Canada, Maël & Jonas (who will join them for select dates on the What's Next Tour) in Germany, and shared their EP Camaro earlier this year. They're not done yet, either — they've got a set at Guelph's Hillside Festival on the way.

Alongside the tour announcement, New Friends also gave fans a taste of their set by sharing their latest single "Sad Sugar" and an accompanying lyric video shot in Yonge-Dundas Square.

Tickets for all shows will be available on the band's official website on July 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
