Sombre stadium rockers the National have unveiled a previously unreleased track titled "Sunshine on My Back."
While only surfacing now, the track was apparently recorded around the same time as 2013's Trouble Will Find Me, and it keeps in line with the band's well-established sound. Intricate drums mix with shimmering guitars and frontman Matt Berninger's baritone croons about loneliness.
Despite the sunny title, there's more than enough gloom to go around on the song. Give "Sunshine on My Back" a listen below.
