'N Sync to Reunite at VMAs?

After almost a decade apart, it's rumoured that Justin Timberlake will regroup with the rest of 'N Sync at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards.

The New York Post reports that in addition to Timberlake showing up to Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Sunday (August 25) to pick up a Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, fellow boy-band members J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick will join him onstage for a reunion performance.

This would be the first time they have performed onstage together since the 2004 Annual Challenge for the Children and the first televised performance since their Bee Gees medley at the 2003 Grammy Awards. 'N Sync officially went on hiatus in 2002.

Neither Timberlake nor the rest of the band have confirmed whether they'll be stepping on stage together this Sunday.

In other news, Timberlake will deliver his The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 October 1 through RCA.
