Even before British arena rock band Muse started booking dates behind their album Drones, they began talking about how their shows would feature actual flying drones. Now, they've announced that the tour will be coming to Canada.
"The Drones World Tour" will be coming to North America in December and January. In addition to shows on the U.S. West Coast, there are now Canadian gigs booked in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City.
Phantogram will open up the Vancouver date, while X Ambassadors will open up the other Canadian stops. See all of the currently confirmed shows below (including their many international dates). A fan club pre-sale begins on October 21, and the tickets will go on sale to the public on October 23.
At each date, Muse will be performing on a round stage in the middle of the arena. According to a press release, "This stage design and configuration will give fans a true 360 degree audio/visual sensory experience." See a tour trailer at the bottom of the page.
