As previously reported, Seattle grunge vets Mudhoney are dropping their Vanishing Point LP on April 2 through Sub Pop, but if you're hankering for a sneak peek, Exclaim! has the album streaming in full ahead of schedule.
A press release notes that the act's latest, which follows 2008's The Lucky Ones, features "songs written from the rare vantage point of a band who went through the rock'n'roll meat-grinder and not only lived to tell such a tale, they came out full of the wisdom and dark humor such a journey provides."
In short, that means you get a Stooges- and Nuggets-worshipping collection featuring the spectacularly sloppy "I Like It Small," the raunchy Bible tale update "The Only Son of the Widow from Nain," and the hypnotically charged guitar leads of the psych-rock finale "Douchebags on Parade." Make sure you toss on a Sub Pop-approved "Loser" shirt before letting the sleaziness soak in when you stream Vanishing Point in the player down below.
UPDATE: This stream was available for one week only and is no longer available.
