Mudhoney release their next rowdy LP Vanishing Point April 2 through Sub Pop, but the grunge gods are giving their disciples a new tune a little early. It's a biblically minded banger titled "The Only Son of the Widow from Nain," and you can check it out below.
The song itself is a slopped-up slice of garage rawk, with junkyard guitar solos, kit-crushing beats and Mark Arm's erratic cries running throughout the length of the song, just how we like it. Lyrically, it spit-shines a gospel tale of Jesus bringing a young man back from the dead, though it seems like the son of the widow from Nain is envious of another, more well-known walker ("Fuckin' Lazarus got all the fame.")
