MONOWHALES have spent the summer playing festivals across the country and supporting grandson on the Canadian leg of his international tour. Now, the Toronto trio have revealed that their fall plans include a headlining North American tour, which will bring them to cities across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
Alongside the news, they've shared a fiery new single called "Hear Me Out," produced by guitarist Zach Zanardo. "When I'm on tour, I get to surround myself with the most accepting and welcoming people on earth. I feel so heard, so supported. 'Hear Me Out' explores how difficult it is for me to live without that outlet," lead singer Sally Shaar said in a press release. "The place that I feel most comfortable is in the discomfort of vans, hotels and messy dressing rooms. MONOWHALES tours breathe life into me, and the climax to that way of life is that I get to go on stage and be surrounded by such an amazing community."
Kicking off on October 16 in Chicago, MONOWHALES will play eight shows stateside before returning to Canada, starting with a show at Victoria's Wicket Hall on November 16. From there, they'll play Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Grande Prairie, Edmonton, Banff, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, North Bay, Waterloo, Hamilton, Barrie, Toronto and Ottawa, before capping things off with a concert at Montreal's Bar le Ritz PDB on December 16.
