Looking for a summer music festival that's a bit more intense than the usual fun-in-the-sun fare? Well, head out to Mississauga, ON, for Rock the Coliseum 2010 fest. The line-up for the two-day event has been announced, and it sounds as if it's going to tear a lot of other summer fests a new you-know-what (and by that, we mean ear canal, of course).

Bands confirmed to appear at the non-profit music and arts festival this year include headliners the Junction, as well as Songs from a Room, the Archives, Sandman Viper Command, Dinosaur Bones, the Balconies, Arietta, Make Your Exit, Sights and Sounds, Metz, Dance Electric, Co-Pilot, Kosmograd, Monster Truck, Beautiful Nothing, Gentlemen Husbands, Gang of Coyotes, and Kick the Door Down Jackie.

The festival will also be presenting live buskers across Mississauga to raise funds for Warchild. As if all the music's not enough, the event features the Underground Garage Sale, Mississauga's longest-running youth-oriented art, music and trade fair.

Ticket info for the event - which is presented alongside the Telus Mosaic
event, if you're looking for even more things to do - is available... hey, don't worry about it! Rock the Coliseum is a free event, which is very cool indeed. It goes down July 9 and 10 at the Living Arts Centre, located at 4141 Living Arts Dr., in Mississauga.
