The Quebec scene has been buzzing with anticipation as brother-fronted duo Miles Clayton have been preparing to release their debut album. Today, the wait is over.

The release of their self-titled album via MoonSun Musik marks a defining moment in the Quebec City-based artists' career — not only is this their first full-length project, but it's also a documentation of years of creative evolution, personal struggles and triumphs.

Miles Clayton (Sheldon Miles and Clayton Grenier) have crafted an album that tells of healing and reconnecting, its contents heavily inspired by personal experiences. Described as "the soundtrack for life's highs and lows," with its overarching theme being growth and sentimentality, Miles Clayton is a singular listening experience that captivates your eardrums and strums your heartstrings.

"This album is the story of a healing journey. My brother Miles and I went through some very difficult times that required hospitalizations. Music had to be put aside for a while," said Clayton. "This project became our way of reconnecting, rebuilding ourselves and rediscovering our passion. Today, we are stronger and ready to move forward. This album reflects that journey, and our hope is that it can inspire those going through dark times to see that there is a path to healing and hope."

Growing up with francophone roots in an English-speaking environment, the brothers are familiar with duality, the push and pull of life, and lead single "Far to Go" encapsulates that sentiment. Uplifting melodies and heartfelt lyrics speak to the universal journey of overcoming challenges, making the track a powerful anthem for resilience and hope. It highlights the brothers' ability to channel emotion into music that resonates with listeners across genres.

In addition to "Far to Go," Miles Clayton features 10 more genre-spanning tracks that encapsulate the duo's signature sound — harmonious indie-folk melodies intertwined with a contemporary, alternative pop sensibility, with the duo having named Simon & Garfunkel, Ed Sheeran and Hans Zimmer among their influences.
