All Tomorrows Parties has announced this years Nightmare Before Christmas festival will be curated by Mike Patton and the Melvins. From December 5 to 7, the pair will be roping in a sting of left-of-centre acts to play the Butlins Holiday Camp in Minehead, England, and despite the festival being a long way off, several of the bands have already been confirmed.
So far, on the Melvins end, the band themselves will play, along with Isis, Dälek, Big Business and comedian Neil Hamburger. As for Patton, he has lined up the Locust, Zu and Fantômas, who will be performing their 2001 album The Directors Cut in its entirety.
Tickets for the event, which last year was curated by Portishead, are already up for sale at the ATP website. More acts are expected to be confirmed shortly.
