Mike D has unveiled a new track in collaboration with fashion house Kenzo, titled "Humberto vs. the New Reactionaries: Christine and the Queens Remixx."
Rolling Stone reports that the collaboration came about after Spike Jonze introduced the Beastie Boy to the designer's creative director Humberto Leon. Mike D says that the new song combines elements of Leon's inspirations like Black Flag, Bad Brains and Circle Jerks, but that he felt the need to update that sound.
The new track comes following the news that surviving Beastie Boys Mike D and Ad-Rock are working on a memoir, due out in fall 2015. For now, though, give Mike D's "Humberto vs. the New Reactionaries: Christine and the Queens Remixx" a spin below.
