Michael Stipe, Brian Eno & Stephen Colbert "Lean on Me" (live on 'Colbert Report')

Michael Stipe may have decided to throw in the R.E.M. towel, but that isn't stopping him from hobnobbing with other A-list musicians. Last night (November 10), that took the form of Stipe appearing on the Colbert Report with Brian Eno and doing a sing-along performance of "Lean on Me," of all things.

And while Stipe's "acting" chops may still be a bit tough to swallow, it's always good to hear Eno exercise those often-dormant pipes of his, even if it's just for a cover of "Lean of Me."
