Experimental electronic music maker Matthew Herbert is gearing up to release The Shakes — his first album since 2006's Scale — and while the release date has been pushed back until June 2, you can give the album an early listen in its entirety right now.
The record offers up 12 new compositions, which hear the artist making a concerted effort to lure listeners on to the dancefloor. Not to worry though, Herbert's experimental tendencies still manage to worm their way to the forefront throughout the album.
