Man meets Bear is the musical project of freshwater ecologist Soren Brothers, and he's set to release his latest album I Want to Be a Gallant Rider Like My Father Was Before Me in the coming weeks, but first, he's unveiled a new video for "Elm."

Brothers studies the interconnectivity and flow of energy and matter in the Great Lakes, and managed to apply the same concept to the forests, ravines, rivers and lakes within the city of Toronto. The city's geography gets explored through instrumental compositions and improvised vocals on Man meets Bear's latest album, and you can hear that process come to life on "Elm."

The track has been paired with visuals, courtesy of filmmaker Sean Travis Ramsay, that find Brothers emerging from the lake and collecting a series of objects on his journey across drier land.

Follow along by watching the video premiere of "Elm" below. I Want to Be a Gallant Rider Like My Father Was Before Me is out on September 1 through ur audio visual.
