Veteran indie hero Mac McCaughan is taking some time away from Superchunk and Portatastic to release his first album under his own name, and with Non-Believers slated to arrive on May 5 through Merge, he has rolled out a new cut called "Lost Again."
The new wave-flavoured song is anchored by a simple drum machine and a bassline that thrums along with straightforward eighth notes. This is overlaid with beautifully watery guitars, some soft background synths, and melodic melancholia from McCaughan.
