M. Ward will douse us with the whole of his More Rain LP in March, but before he can do that, he's got a confession to make. Funnily enough, it arrives in the form of an early album preview titled "Confession."
Backed by a Byrds-ian jangle, rootsy acoustic guitar strums, horns and more, the indie-folk singer-songwriter uses his smokey baritone to ask "Anybody got a load that they need lifted?" From there, the track has Ward praising the lightness you'll feel after a solid confession.
You can hear the track below, while you can wash yourself in More Rain March 4 through Merge.
