Lost in the Trees Unveil Canada/U.S. Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 3, 2010

Up-and-coming baroque folksters Lost in the Trees recently released their debut LP, All Alone in an Empty House via Anti-. With its lush arrangements and ornate instrumentation, it's bound to be interesting to see how the album translates live. This fall, North American audiences will have a chance to experience the spectacle in person, as the band will be heading out for a North American tour.

There are currently four Canadian shows: Hamilton, Waterloo, Toronto and Montreal. There are also a number of U.S. dates, mostly around the northeast part of the country. See the schedule below, and check out some of the small towns that the group will be playing; we're guessing that Oberlin, OH doesn't usually see too many touring musicians.

If you still haven't heard All Alone in an Empty House, the track "Walk Around the Lake" is the free Single of the Week on iTunes. For a taste of the live experience, click on the video embedded below the tour dates.
