Lizz Wright and Sanah Kadoura have announced that they'll play a co-headlining set at the Royal Conservatory of Music's Koerner Hall in Toronto on April 27.
Wright is set to perform from her forthcoming album Shadow (her first project since 2017) and the Lebanese-Canadian percussionist Kadoura will play a collection of her soul-inspired songs.
Despite having a Canadian background, Kadoura — who was nominated for a JUNO in 2023 for her work with woman-led Canadian jazz collective the Ostara Project — is based in New York City, so the show will be something of a homecoming for her.
