Now that we're in February, festival season all of a sudden doesn't feel so far away. Sure enough, the second instalment of Lawnya Vawnya has now announced its lineup, and it includes some some stellar musical acts who will be coming to St. John's, NL over five days from April 18 to 22.

Among the many artists participating in the festival are the Inbreds (making another reunion appearance), Cadence Weapon, Julie Doiron, Snailhouse, Wax Mannequin, Sheezer (yup, the all-female Weezer cover band), Laura Barrett, the Weaker Station, Stanley Brinks (formerly of Herman Düne), and many more. See the full lineup here.

These artists will be playing at a variety of venues. The festival's Facebook page notes, "There will be bar shows, and weird shows, parties, readings, gallery shows, lectures and strange things afoot." Other attractions include a record fair, panels about indie music, and a selection of free gigs.

Festival passes are currently on sale at Model Citizens and cost $40, although be forewarned that there are only 100 passes in total.

There will also be a pair of fundraiser shows happening in the next couple of months, so get the full details over at the Lawnya Vawnya website.
