Lab Coast Take 'Walking on Ayr' on Canadian Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Mar 10, 2014

The members of Calgary act Lab Coast are among some of their city's most prolific musicians. In addition to their own brand of short and sweet indie pop anthems, members keep busy with bassist Samantha Savage Smith's solo work, the Bug Incision record label and countless other projects. After touring all around the UK and Western Canada, they've finally announced a cross-Canada Lab Coast tour.

The run of shows is still being filled in, but the confirmed stops see the band travelling from their native Alberta to the east, concluding the tour in Sackville, NB, on April 17.

In addition, the group are gearing up to release a vinyl pressing of their album Walking on Ayr, which was treated to a CD release last year, via Mammoth Cave. The 16-track album, which can be streamed in full below, is the band's strongest statement yet. You can order a copy here.

Lab Coast will celebrate the album's release with a Calgary show on March 15 at the Palomino. Check out their full performance itinerary below.
