Thom Kolb used to front the Vancouver orchestral rock band 41st and Home, but these days he makes electronic music under the name Kinship, and it's with this project that he just rolled out a new cut called "Faith Healer."
The song sports a pulsing, dance floor-geared throb and sparkling synths, with the melody provided by chopped up, pitch-altered vocal edits. The real star of the arrangement is the funky bassline, which provides the synthetic track's organic core.

Kinship has a hometown show at Vancouver's Electric Owl on May 23 with LeMarquis and Tails. Get the full details over on Facebook.
