After first teasing her upcoming The Golden Echo LP with "90s Music," New Zealand solo star Kimbra is reaching even further into the annals of pop to go full-on disco for "Miracle."
The retro-styled cut delivers a shimmering, 24 karat arrangement of four-on-the-floor beats, dizzying stringwork, bell bottom-era bass pops, and more. Revelling in the love of a certain miraculous someone, Kimbra delivers a series of Off the Wall vocal musings and percussive scatting sessions. Though it ends with a snippet of an opulent ballroom waltz, you'll find Kimbra mostly owning a dancefloor-ready groove down below.
As for The Golden Echo, the album drops in full August 19 through Warner Bros.
