Justin Walter recently signed to Kranky for Lullabies and Nightmares, due out May 27, and now he's rolled out a track from that full-length with "Dream Weaving."
The album is said to feature improvised instrumentals composed on an electronic valve instrument (a horn/synth hybrid). "Dream Weaving" is based around a softly cycling loop that's overlaid with with distorted ambience and jazzy drums as it builds towards a distorted crescendo.
