Quiet Swedish indie folk artist José González has been, well, relatively quiet on the solo front, instead focusing on the resurrection of his indie pop outfit Junip. Returning to his solo project, however, the artist has written one of his loudest songs yet.
"Step Out" was written for the soundtrack of Ben Stiller's upcoming epic The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and offers four minutes of enormous anthem pop better suited to Coldplay or Arcade Fire.
There's everything from electric guitars to brash sing-alongs (complete with children's choir) and a climactic build-up. The whole thing's cinematic, to say the least.
