Japanese Breakfast is set to play a show at Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival in South Korea this August, and she's decided to release a special, Korean-language version of Jubilee single "Be Sweet" in celebration.

Translated with help from Yaeji, the new version features Seoul-based artist and SE SO NEON frontperson So!YoON!. In a statement about the single, Michelle Zauner said:

We thought it would be fun to put out a special Korean version of "Be Sweet" preceding our upcoming performance in Seoul. Im very grateful Yaeji helped me with the translation over a year ago. So!YoON! is one of my favourite indie artists in Seoul right now and I'm so happy we got to collab.

Japanese Breakfast recently cancelled her September tour stop at Rochester, NY's Main Street Armory after it was revealed that the venue was also hosting the right-wing "Reawaken America" tour.

"It's a picket line we support and are not interested in crossing. We are unfortunately unable to move the event to a different venue this time but we love Rochester and I am sure we will return someday soon," she said of the cancellation.

She also announced yesterday that today's (July 20) tour stop in Montreal has been cancelled due to COVID cases in the Japanese Breakfast touring party. Yesterday's show at Toronto's History was postponed
