Current Exclaim! cover boy Jamie xx followed up this past weekend's Bestival Toronto appearance with a stop in New York, where he appeared as the musical guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night (June 15).
In support of his recently released debut solo record In Colour, the UK producer filled the stage with an array of musical pals to deliver "Loud Places." His xx bandmate Romy stole the spotlight on vocals, while their other xx colleague Oliver Sim also nabbed a spot in the lineup. Jehnny Beth (Savages), Moses Sumney, Caroline Polachek (Chairlift), Okay Kaya, Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) and the Harlem Gospel Choir rounded out the live band, filling the studio with a dramatic rendition of "Loud Places."
