A whole eight years ago, inventive Parisian producer Jackson and His Computer Band released his debut LP Smash. Now, the project is finally returning with a sophomore album.
The new record is called Glow and once again includes a great deal of custom instrumentation. Discussing the album in a press release, he said, "Glow is a game of musical obsessions and rageous pleasures. I've made it driven by feverish moments of revelation and sharing them with my friends."
Jackson's also working on an intense live show. In the press release, he explained, "The live show opens a territory of everlasting changes and real time communion with the audience. My Computerband is now fully alive."
Glow will be available on September 2 via Warp. A teaser for the album (which is vaguely NSFW due to distant breasts) can be viewed below.
