As previously reported, Mad Decent megastar Diplo and EDM giant Skrillex occasionally get together to make music as Jack Ü. One such number made its way into a Diplo set earlier this month when the Mad Decent Block Party rolled through Brooklyn, and an official live recording of their "Take Ü There" has now surfaced online.
Following some excited banter from Diplo, the track begins with soft keyboard melodies and a gospel R&B hook from singer Kiesza. The song soon erupts into a mixture of busy percussive clacks, laser gun sounds and a tough-as-nails faux brass honk. The track bounces back and forth, surging between dimensions of dark and light.
You'll find the track below. You might also get the chance to check out the track when the tour runs through Calgary and Vancouver next month. You'll find the show info here.
