New York post-punk pop act Interpol recently returned to form on their El Pintor LP. Now, however, that form has been heavily shifted thanks to a new remix of "My Desire."
One of many standouts from El Pintor, "My Desire" has been completely transformed into a seven-minute workout courtesy of DFA dance trio Factory Floor. Using a subtle, pulsing kick, pitch-shifted vocals and plenty of hardware synths, it's part Kraftwerk and part "Oh Yeah." Factory Floor have truly made "My Desire" all their own.
