Human Parts

"Call Em Off" (video)

While mostly playing out like an in-studio jam, the video for former Against Me! bassist Andrew Seward's Human Parts' "Call Em Off" puts the focus on matters of the heart.

Visually, there's not too much drama to be seen, instead matching up footage of the band running through the angular punk tune with textured, digitally distorted headshots. The lyrics, however, allude to the airing of feelings.

"The video keeps the message simple," Seward said in a statement. "Breaking up is hard to do, and burying emotions is such a bad idea. We all do it, and we all try not to. That's what the song is about. It could be relationships, jobs, etc. Burying it makes it worse."
