Australian-bred, Brooklyn-based outfit High Highs are making their way through Canada on their North American tour this week, and before you catch them in Montreal or Toronto, Exclaim! has your first look at a karaoke-inspired video for "How Could You Know" — the perfect way to learn the lyrics ahead of time.
Directed by Thomas Beug, the video shifts between an evening at a karaoke bar and telling the story of two lovers spending a day at the beach, though things end up going a bit deeper. All the while, the lyrics of the smooth, airy track are front and centre.
High Highs will bring songs from their latest record, Cascades, to Toronto's Drake Hotel on March 29 and Montreal's La Sala Rossa on March 30 before heading back down into the U.S. Watch the clip for "How Could You Know" in the player below the dates.
