There's good news and bad for those Yukon Blonde fans out there waiting for Jeffrey Innes's new solo album as High Ends. The bad is the project's debut LP Super Class has been pushed back from its original August 26 release date to October 7. The good, we have a new single to keep us occupied during the extended wait.
Following "The Weight" and "Downtown," Innes has hooked us up with "Intoxicated." Like the previous preview tracks, this one swaps his day job's retro rock styling for something of a more electronic nature, with a thumping rhythm leading a mash of multitracked harmonies, gliding guitar work and druggy sonic atmospheres.
You can stream the track below and pick it up, along with "Downtown," as a digital single on iTunes.
Super Class arrives via Dine Alone and was produced by BC studio guru Colin Stewart.
