​Here's the Full List of Winners from the 2016 Indies

Canadian Music Week is currently underway in Toronto, and one of the festival's biggest events took place last night (May 4). The Indies were handed out at a ceremony at the Phoenix Concert Theatre, honouring some of the finest in Canadian and international independent music.
 
Grimes' took home Album of the Year for last year's effort Art Angels, while Wintersleep snagged the title for Single of the Year for "Amerika." The Stumbellas were awarded Group of the Year, while that award's solo artist counterpart went to Yoan.
 
In the specialty categories, Jazz Cartier took home Rap Artist of the Year, the Elwins were given Rock Group of the Year, and Dan Mangan took home the prize for Singer-Songwriter of the Year.
