Metal and hard rock fans rejoice: summer festivals Heavy TO and Heavy MTL have just announced their lineups. Both events will take place the weekend of August 11 to 12, and will feature some big-time bangers, including the reunited System of a Down, face-mask-sporting faves Slipknot and Marilyn Manson.

The Montreal edition will take place at Parc Jean-Drapeau, where System of a Down will headline the first night. Also appearing onstage that day are Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage, Cannibal Corpse, Between the Buried and Me, Job For a Cowboy, Kataklysm, Periphery, Faceless, Veil of Maya, Goatwhore, and more.

Day two will feature Slipknot Marilyn Manson, Lamb of God, Gojira, High on Fire, Suicidal Tendencies, Overkill, Protest the Hero, Cancer Bats, and others. Plus, more bands are expected to be added to each day.

Heavy TO, which takes place at Toronto's Downsview Park, have yet to unveil exactly how their lineup will roll out, but it will likely be the mirror image of the Montreal gigs.

Tickets are on sale for both the Toronto and Montreal editions, with a regular weekend pass running at $170. You can find out more info at their respective sites.

Blabbermouth also reports that the first 500 people to buy a general admission pass will get free downloads for upcoming albums by System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian and SOAD offshoot Scars on Broadway.
