Hannah Georgas

"Rideback"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 27, 2016

While thematically filled with existential dread and night sweats, Canadian indie-pop artist Hannah Georgas has revealed a sonically chill and calming new single called "Rideback."

Initially teased in an album trailer, the song begins with a haunting but hummable horn melody. Above this Georgas explains that she wakes up in the middle of the night trying to figure out just where the hell her life is going. Her all-too-sadly relatable position is then backed by a mix of icy beats and sax skronks.

Georgas' For Evelyn arrives June 24 through Dine Alone Records.
