Hamilton's Supercrawl to Announce 2012 Lineup at Surprise Pop-Up Show with Said the Whale, Terra Lightfoot

If you've already blown your budget for summer festivals, then Supercrawl has the answer. The free annual festival, which is one of the highlights of Hamilton, ON's music calendar, is preparing to announce the details of its 2012 edition, which will take place on September 14 and 15.

The full lineup will be announced today (June 25) at a surprise pop-up show in downtown Hamilton, just outside of the Tivoli Theatre on 108 James Street North. The show, starting at noon local time, will feature performances by Vancouver pop rockers Said the Whale and Hamilton's own Terra Lightfoot.

Also on hand will be Jeremy Greenspan of Junior Boys, who will announce the lineup for this year's Supercrawl. The headliners for this year's festival will include K'naan, Change of Heart and Said the Whale, and look the rest of the details to emerge later today.

There will be some local food trucks on hand for the event, so if you happen to be in Hamilton, don't delay in heading to the intersection of James Street North and York Boulevard/Wilson Street.
