The Halifax-based Summersonic festival's only previous instalment occurred way back in 2008, but now the event is being resurrected for another go-around. From September 7 to 9, the 2012 edition of the festival will take place at Citadel Hill's Garrison Grounds.
Confirmed performers so far for the three-day event include Stars, Rise Against, Ben Harper, K'naan, Bahamas, Daniel Lanois, the Vandals, Lagwagon, Martin Sexton, the Stanfields and Matt Andersen.
Early bird passes cost $70 up until July 20 and $85 thereafter. Friday tickets will cost $30 before rising to $35, while single-day tickets for Saturday or Sunday will be $50 then $55. VIP passes, meanwhile, are $85 per day.
All of those ticket options will go on sale starting July 6 at Sonic Concerts.
