Grounders released their latest LP Coffee & Jam earlier this year, and now "Perfect" from that record has been given the visual treatment.
The new video was directed and edited by the band's own Daniel Busheikin, and it harkens back to a snowier time of year. It details memories of a romantic relationship, set against the bright blue winter sky and inside a cozy cabin.
Ultimately, however, our protagonist is left alone and icy in the wilderness icy with a mostly-frozen beer.
"The video for 'Perfect' is a meditation on finding the perfect girl, losing the perfect love, and enjoying the perfect spinach dip," the Busheikin tells Exclaim! "We shot this video while staying at an Airbnb in Grand Bend over New Years 2018, and were influenced by ambiguously emotional karaoke videos."
The band will play a record release show at the Baby G in Toronto tomorrow night (May 19). Find full details for the show here.
