When the Golden Dogs released Coat of Arms back in July, we said that the Toronto band "remain unafraid to sound like a regular indie rock band, most likely because they do it so well." Now, the group are getting set to promote their awesomely straightforward sounds with a string of new tour dates.
The tour will begin in early December with a run of five shows. Then, in January, the outing will resume with four more dates. All of the stops are in Ontario aside from one performance in Montreal on January 22.
If you're able to make it out to one of the gigs, it should be well worth your time, as the band are currently a shortlist nominee for the Bucky Award for Best Live Act.
Tour dates:
12/1 Guelph, ON - Albion Hotel
12/3 London, ON - APK Live
12/4 Windsor, ON - The Phog
12/9 Peterborough, ON - Red Dog
12/11 Toronto, ON - The El Mocambo
1/20 Ottawa, ON - Mavericks
1/21 Kingston, ON - The Grad Club
1/22 Montreal, ON - Divan Orange
1/27 Hamilton, ON - Casbah
