London, UK electro guy Gold Panda will release his latest LP Half of Where You Live next week, but has revealed the video for "My Father in Hong Kong 1961" to help tide fans over until then.
The clip showcases life in Hong Kong, from busy intersections and subway cars to the gorgeous shoreline. Gold Panda explained the inspiration behind the video, telling Nowness, "After my last album I toured extensively for three years, so I had a headful of this amazing planet we live on." He continued, "Despite its faults the world is actually great, and I wanted to celebrate not only nature but man-made things—like big glass shopping malls in Asia."
