After testing the waters by teaming up for a 7-inch release last year, Afrobeat-loving Swedish psych rockers Goat have made things official and signed to Sub Pop.
Today (March 21) the announcement was made in a press release, which confirms that Goat are now officially part of the Sub Pop roster in North America. Not much is known about the group's next record, but this second Sub Pop release follows their "Dreambuilding" / "Stonegoat" single. More recently, though, the mystery-clad unit delivered their Live Ballroom Ritual concert set through Rocket Recordings, who presumably will still handle Goat's releases overseas.
As previously reported, Goat are hitting North America this spring for a handful of club and festival shows. This includes Canadian show stops at Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre on April 15 and an appearance in Toronto on June 20 for Exclaim!'s NXNE showcase. You'll find the concert info down below.
