It's been a crazy long time since we heard anything out of Cee Lo Green and Danger Mouse's tag-team project Gnarls Barkley, but it's looking as if the duo could be getting back together in 2014.
Though the news is quite limited, a paparazzo-styled interview found Cee Lo grilled at an airport about the possibility of a Gnarls Barkley reunion. As the singer made his way to an escalator, he answered with a simple, "Yeah, like, next year."
You'll see the quick interview down below via TMZ.
While that's not much to go on, this would be the first we've heard from the project since they issued their The Odd Couple LP in 2008. Mind you, this doesn't confirm whether the reunion will be on stage or in the studio.
Danger Mouse's 2014, meanwhile, will also include a North American tour with Broken Bells in support of their forthcoming After the Disco LP, which is due January 14 through Columbia Records.
Green's 2013 saw him enjoying a Goodie Mod reunion via the release of their Age Against the Machine in the summer. More recently, he was cleared of some sexual battery charges, but is still facing a felony drug charge for furnishing ecstasy to a woman tied to the dropped charges. The case will face a Los Angeles judge next month.
