Girls Aloud To Get Out of Control On November 10

Britain's reigning chart queens, Girls Aloud, have announced they'll release their new album on November 10. Titled Out of Control, the group's sixth album will be preceded by a single, "The Promise," on October 27.

Of course, as North Americans familiar with the feisty fivesome know, the chances of the album reaching shops on this side of the ocean is doubtful, considering none of the first five Girls Aloud albums have received a domestic release.

Described by the Girls - Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh - as "their most exciting and thrilling album yet," it is reportedly "a lot older sounding, which wasn't intentional, it was just kind of how it went." There's also a bit of a throwback to the '60s, which according to Walsh "is quite prominent... but out of the ordinary. Not really what you'd expect."

Walsh also revealed the album's title was a reaction from their label Polydor, which told them "We don't know what to say, you lot are out of control. We can't tell you anything."
