Canadian Thanksgiving is coming up this weekend, a time when we get together with our families and give thanks for all the good music we get to hear during the year. In the spirit of sharing and kindness, we've rounded up some of the newest and coolest music to hit our site. See below for some of our favourite music from the past week, then visit Exclaim!'s Music/Video section every week for even more musical awesomeness as it's released.

After dropping the single earlier this year, Rihanna has released a conversation-worthy video clip for "Pour It Up" that features stripper pole aerobics and a pretty revealing outfit.

On the complete opposite side of things, Montreal's Solids are finally set to release their first album, Blame Confusion, tomorrow (October 8). Until then, you can stream the sludge-rock record at Exclaim.ca. If your ears need something a little softer, look no further than Tony Dekker of Great Lake Swimmers. We've got a stream of his debut solo album, Prayer of the Woods, which explores Canada's harsh beauty with a minimalist palette.

After an almost decade-long hiatus, Joel RL Phelps & the Downer Trio have returned with 12 folky, fuzzed-out tunes that make up their new album, Gala. You can now stream the whole thing ahead of its October 8 release date. For even more fuzzy guitars, check out Sleepy Sun's video for "11:32," which features a woman going on a self-destructive partying bender.

Finally, legendary Toronto band Skydiggers are celebrating their 25th anniversary and part of the festivities include She Comes Into the Room, which features female singers taking on the band's back catalogue. You can now stream that whole album online.
